Are you a tennis recruit looking for a scholarship?

If so, look no further than grab a pen and take some notes.

Then start taking action today for a tennis scholarship.

“With the Internet, we all have the ability to communicate with each other easily, freely, and very quickly, so take advantage of it for all it’s worth when looking for your scholarship.”

Go, get to work!

create your “Dream List” of the schools in which you would like to play.

By the way, make sure you can play at that level.

Get advice from your coaches and parents, but go with your own gut feeling in your final decision.

After creating your list.

It’s time to create a player profile, write it into a document, and then download it as a PDF file, so you can send it to the coaches.

Include all your achievements in your junior career and 3 recommendations from teachers or employers.

Then make a video.

This should be you playing matches and in practice.

At the beginning of the video introduce yourself and thank them for watching, then at the end of the video tell them how you can help their show and what you bring to the table as a player.

Start contacting the trainers.

Send them an email with your profile.

They will then ask you to submit your video, so please do so.

The following is very important to get your scholarship.

Call them 3 days after you feel it and sell yourself why they need to recruit you.

Write a script and practice it until you know it by heart, anticipate your questions, and have your power statement ready.

Talk to them in a very relaxed and conversational way.

And this will allow you to control the conversation from beginning to end.

Keep following up every 2 weeks and if you feel like it’s not going to happen with that school.

Take them off your dream list and replace them with another school.

But do not worry.

If you put this plan into action with a well thought out strategy and follow through with a great attitude and purpose.

You will get your scholarship very fast.

Because the coaches will see that you act together and that you are self-directed.

All college coaches look for character, integrity, and leadership ability.

So start working on all of those attributes today and build them up as fast as you can.

Good.

That’s it!

“Follow these steps and start with the end goal in mind and set strong intentions and never let anyone or anyone break your intentions, which is doing whatever it takes to get a tennis scholarship.

And it’s a done deal!

One more thing.

Work the numbers (universities you contact in the beginning) until those numbers start working for you!

Contact as many schools as you need at first and keep contacting them until you have 5 of them interested in hiring you.

Later.

It’s just a matter of working the process.

You guys are ready and…

I wish all of you the best of luck too!
