All dressed up and nowhere to go? In Barbados, that is impossible. There is always something to do and somewhere to go. If you are ready for great fun and great parties, then you should definitely try going to Harbor Lights, one of the most famous clubs in Barbados. Make no mistake, partying in Barbados is unlike anything you can experience. From some of the outdoor clubs to some of the drinks made with the famous Mount Gay rum.

Harbor Lights itself is an outdoor club located on the beautiful Carlisle Bay beach. Can you imagine having fun on the sand with the fresh breeze of the Caribbean? It makes it easy for those who want to party like a rock star on the beach and those who want to be outdoors but without sand on their feet. Its design is classic, not like the regular club. There are two easily accessible bars, one inside and one outside on the dance floor that wraps around so you can reach it from either side.

The music itself is an eclectic compilation provided by talented in-house DJs who also take requests. They play anything from the good old hits to new hip-hop and reggae. There is something for everyone.

The cost is about $25 US and they usually charge less depending on how late you arrive at the club. For that price, all drinks are free. Located in the back is a kiosk that sells fast food, which is convenient because you’re going to need something to eat after all night of dancing and partying.

The dress code is casual, but feel free to dress up. Whether it’s flip flops and shorts or heels and a party dress, you can wear whatever makes you happy. Friday nights are one of the busiest nights as it is the best party night for the club and Sundays, although more relaxed, are just as enjoyable. Free parking is provided in a lot located next to the location.

Whether you’re looking for a laid-back night out or crazy fun, you’ll find it at Harbor Lights. Who knows, you might even learn a couple of new dance moves while doing it or just make some new friends and fun memories. Don’t forget to check out the wall where people sign their names and if you’re lucky see if you can leave a souvenir because Harbor Lights will definitely leave you one.
