One Step Mac and Cheese

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Cooking time: 1 hour, 10 minutes.

Food Occasion: Lunch / Dinner

Makes 10-12 servings

Serving size 1 cup

Cost per serving: less than $ 1

Ingredients:

5 cups of great value skim milk

1 egg

3 tablespoons high-value sugar

1 tablespoon Great Value butter, melted

1 pkg. (16 oz.) Great Value Whole Wheat Elbow Macaroni

Great value of salt and pepper to taste.

2 cups Great Value low-fat shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 ° F.

2. In a bowl, combine the milk, egg, and sugar.

3. In a 2-quart rectangular baking dish, combine the remaining ingredients, reserving some cheese for later, if desired. Carefully pour the milk mixture over the macaroni and stir well.

4. Bake, covered, 60 to 65 minutes or until almost all liquid is absorbed. Uncover, add remaining cheese, and continue to bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until cheese is melted.

Advice:
