There have been so many environmental problems that exist in our world today. We are having so many headaches about how we can minimize its effect on the environment and people. Our ecological situation has been aggravated by the occurrence of natural disasters like typhoons, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and any other calamity.
Today, we will be talking about some of the environmental issues that we believe deserve more careful attention from authorities and citizens in general around the world.
Mining – is one of the main problems listed among so many social dilemmas that the leaders of each nation must examine deeply. Although mining is vital as it is one of the important sources of raw materials in the production of other products, we really cannot deny that it is also a factor that destroys our environment. There have been many studies that mining can really cause great harm to mother earth, but the rise of the mining industry around the world has doubled. We need mining to meet people’s needs, but we also need to take good care of our environment. Despite the introduction of concepts for responsible mining, it is still very destructive.
Global Warming: Our ambient climate is changing and getting warmer every day. The ozone layer that protects us from the sun’s heat is gradually being damaged by the rapid rise of technology. We are facing a problem whose solution is yet to be exposed.
Air Pollution: Millions of cars and buses travel every day on major and minor roads in every country, and all of these are producing air pollutants. We have been breathing those dirty particles that little by little spoil our physical and mental health.
Deforestation – this is another big factor attributed to many environmental problems we are facing right now. The landslide that has occurred in the rest of the world is due to deforestation. We are hardly facing the uncontrolled felling of trees in any geographical place in the world.
Our planet has been filled with so many environmental problems. The devastations that occurred to people’s lives and property due to the frequent occurrences of natural calamities can be partly directly attributed to humans. We strive every day for a better life and, without knowing it, we are destroying our very existence. Our environment is our life and let’s share our best to protect mother earth from harm.
