It’s time to break down the myths, misconceptions, and fabricated lies about distilled water and its relationship to the health and physiology of the human body. Distilled water is simply the most consistently pure water available anywhere and is the only regulated water on the market.

Distilled water was the first water sold in supermarkets before the first bottled water vending machine, which was installed at Bill’s IGA grocery store in Brooklyn, Michigan in 1976. In the late 1950s, ’60s and 70, only distilled water was sold in stores. and could be found in household cleaning and laundry detergent aisles, as it was used primarily for steam irons and car batteries. Why? Because the rest of the water except rainwater and distilled water contains other substances including inorganic minerals which would accumulate and plug the holes of the steam iron and accumulate on the lead plates of the battery, shortening the service life of the battery.

Michigan was one of the first states to experience and recognize the serious consequences of groundwater contamination resulting from the random disposal of hazardous waste materials from the automotive industry into urban rivers, streams, and vacant lots along rural roads. At the same time, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) was uncovering the nation’s groundwater contamination from the indiscriminate dumping of toxic waste, along with agricultural chemicals, nitrates, pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides, as well as leaching from the landfills.

Clean water?

Now, three decades later, the chemicals remain in the water along with others being introduced into our environment at a rate of approximately 1,000 new chemicals and toxins per year. Despite that fact, municipal water supplies are only required to test for the Clean Water Act of 1972 list of 127 priority contaminants. They stopped testing and adding new chemicals to the list more than 30 years ago because of the astronomical amount of new chemicals produced annually. It is practically impossible to get them out of the water. The water companies do not have the funds or the capacity to deal with this growing dilemma.

For this reason alone, the bottled water industry has emerged and grown exponentially over the years. Forbes magazine reported that “…the bottled water industry is now growing faster than the economy.”

In a race for a piece of the water profit pie, there are hundreds of water-related companies that manufacture equipment, devices and methods to clean and/or improve water. We are told that our city’s water is “perfectly safe and healthy to drink,” even though, like San Diego municipal water, it contains 24 of the 127 priority contaminants known to cause cancer in humans. It also contains trihalomethanes (THM) at twice the legal limit (6 carcinogens + chlorine), as well as hydrofluorosilisic acid, used in rat poison and pesticides. Municipal water providers say all of these carcinogens are at “safe levels” and meet EPA standards. Yes of course. Give me a glass of water with over two dozen carcinogens in it (which they actually test for), but just make sure they’re all at “safe” levels and I’ll feel safe and healthy.

So now we can buy spring water, glacier, mineral, sparkling, flavored, vitaminized, filtered, deionized, reverse osmosis, alkaline, balanced, vortexed, zero water, and far from the last or least distilled, just to name a few! Some!

If your goal is to get into the water business and make the most money, I recommend running your municipal water through a cheap carbon filter, bottling it, and labeling it “Spring Water”…that is, if it is unethical, as many water companies are. But guess what, it’s not against the law to do that in most states. The only water that is regulated is distilled water; if you label it as distillate, it must be purified by the distillation process.

If you buy your water in a vending machine, I recommend that you check what the purification process consists of. If it is “filtration only”, the water has only part of the chemicals removed and all the inorganic minerals remain. The body cannot use inorganic minerals; only organic ionic minerals are healthy and can be used by the body. Inorganic minerals cannot be absorbed by cells and can contribute to the formation of plaque in the colon, kidney stones and other ailments.

Inverse osmosis

Reverse osmosis is the most common method of water purification which, when new, can remove more than 90 percent of carcinogens. However, filters must be replaced after treating a certain number of gallons of water. If they are not replaced, the quality of the filtered water begins to rapidly degrade to the point where the water that comes out of the vending machine can be worse than the municipal water that is filtered. When the filters reach their capacity to hold chemicals, they begin to release trapped materials with each sale as the volume of water and pressure forces them loose.

The only water that can be consistently trusted is water that has been purified through the distillation process. This consists of boiling the water, killing all bacteria, cysts, amoebas, and waterborne diseases, leaving all chemical and other contaminants in the boiling tank, collecting the vapor, and rechilling it back to liquid distilled water. . This water is then polished with a carbon filter to remove the possibility of volatile organic compounds that may have become gaseous and passed with the steam. The result is pure, clean, healthy H2O plus nothing.

Distilled water is so pure that it is a natural solvent (hungry, empty of any other substance or compound). As a consequence, distilled water will easily dissolve inorganic mineral plaque accumulation in the colon, kidneys (stones), gallbladder (stones) and other parts of the body and remove them.

Our bodies consist of over 70% water that needs to be replaced daily from loss through perspiration, evaporation through respiration, elimination of waste through the colon and bladder. Water is necessary to create blood, lymph, digestive juices, lubricants, body fluids, etc. Depending on the purity of the water we consume, our body needs to remove all carcinogens, toxins, chemicals and worthless inorganic minerals (dirt) before we can use it. For starters, the cleaner the water, the faster it can be used for hydration and other bodily functions. According to Andrew Weil, MD, (“America’s Doctor” and one of Time magazine’s “100 Most Influential People”), distilled water is not only the purest, cleanest, healthiest water, it is the water that drink regularly.

Alkaline water

Dr. Weil also said that the latest “alkaline water” fad is a scam. He calls it “fake, save your money”. He claims that $2,000-$6,000 machines sold around the world produce alkaline water over 8 pH. This does not change the pH of the body or the blood in any way, because the very moment alkaline water reaches the stomach, it is instantly neutralized by stomach acid before it leaves the stomach!

A well-known doctor on the Internet claims that “early death comes from drinking distilled water.” He and several other “professionals” who have quoted it have made this myth go viral on the internet. When you google “premature death comes from drinking distilled water”, there are about a million and a half hits. Most of these posted fake quotes come from people selling water filters or alkaline water machines. To claim that alkaline or filtered water is the best, they feel the need to defame or disparage the best, purest and healthiest water to drink: distilled. Not only is it the best drinking water available, it’s the cheapest in any supermarket in the United States.

Myths about distilled water

The most popular myth about distilled water is that all the important minerals the body needs have been removed. First, most of the minerals found dissolved in water along with chemicals, carcinogens, and toxins are inorganic in nature, not ionic or chelated*, and can be absorbed and utilized by our bodies. Instead, they cause plaque on the colon wall. A staggering statistic is that 33% or one in three people over the age of 55 will get colon cancer! Dr. Charles Mayo, founder of the prestigious Mayo Clinic, not only recommends drinking distilled water, but says, “Water hardness is the underlying cause of many, if not all, diseases that result from poisons in the digestive tract.” intestinal”.

Another false claim is that “distilled water leaches valuable minerals from the body.” First of all, distilled water does not leach minerals from the body. The people making that claim are probably some uninformed “professionals” with little or no knowledge of the physiology of the body. When you drink distilled water or any water, it is absorbed through the walls of the intestines (colon) and the body does not remove anything from the water that is not beneficial. The water is then used to produce blood, lymph, digestive juices, lubricants, body fluids, etc. Distilled water is just pure H2O + nothing. It doesn’t run through our veins, the blood does! The blood delivers nutrients to the body’s cells and carries away waste materials. The blood will not deliver a protein, mineral, or vitamin to a cell and then carry it away. Simply put, distilled water does not leach minerals from the body. For those of you who believe that, I suggest you take an adult high school summer course on science and chemistry.

Since the establishment of Distillation Station in 1976, selling distilled water, no one has been able to prove that premature death comes from drinking distilled water, or that distilled water leaches minerals from your body. To date, no one has claimed the $10,000 offer by submitting a blind study or published article that somehow proves that pure, clean distilled water can cause premature death or leach minerals from the body. The offer is still open.

The truth

I have personally been drinking a gallon of distilled water per day for over 40 years. I fast from all foods for a minimum of 21 days a year. Over the years, I’ve done three 40-day fasts on distilled water alone. A year ago I fasted for 60 days: 40 days, then a 6-day break eating only vegetables, and then continued another 20 days (for a total of 60 of 66 days). There is no “premature death” here, only perfect health and longevity.

I guess a man with experience is not at the mercy of a man with arguments. Change your water and change your health. Drink purified distilled water in nature’s way: evaporation and condensation.
