As the new parents of a girl, most mothers love to shop for her clothes. Dresses that have ruffled elements. Mothers love to put their daughters in beauty pageants, not because it is a love for themselves, but because they love to show off their children.

Most women love to put their daughters in red and pink dresses that have ruffles or flowers or something that sets them apart from the boys.

The only sad part is that this stage won’t last long… so moms… it’s important to remember these moments, treasure them all and take lots of photos. Soon enough, they will grow up and choose what they want to wear.

There are five different looks that a mother can dress her daughter with so that the little angel or love from heaven is never considered for a child. Who wants that?

1. Hand-ruched Polly Flinders Dresses

Girls. They love to dress up as a baby and sometimes a toddler and nothing says “I’m a girl” more than hand-dressed Polly Finder dresses. When a woman was younger, she found a bunch of these dresses when her daughter was little. Lots of vintage 50’s dresses for just a dollar each. These are hand-tailored garments that can be searched and found for a bargain of $45 to $175 for a few dozen of them.

2. Sailor suit for a girl

This is a twist on a child’s sailor suit. All you have to do is get red satin ribbons and pair it with blue pin-dots and a white embroidered collar and wear a small sailor cap and you have a classic 1940s look that never goes out of style. People will end up asking you where you got that cute outfit.

3. Aprons with ruffles

This is the classic fairy tale dress: Alice in Wonderland. What is this dress? It’s a gingham dress with puffed shoulders and a ruffled hem beneath a starched apron. The apron started out as an apron. They were like that because they prevented the dress underneath from being stained or ruined forever. Not long after, however, they took on a life of their own and are now worn over underwear. Ruffled hems, off the shoulders, and delicate floral and other embroideries are just a few of the things that make this a classic for mothers to buy or for girls to wear.

4. Frilly Panties

Girly Knickers: There’s nothing more enchanting than having a row of ruffled lace peeking out from under the hems of ruched baby gowns. Ruffled bottom diaper covers and embroidered panties are bound to stand out and are one of the major classics that moms love to put on their daughters. This style never seems to get old.

5. Velvet and taffeta roses

This is the classic dress for Christmas. Girls can be seen dressed in taffeta and velvet with roses and lace at the waist. A traditional look is a red velvet bodice and ruffled checkered taffeta skirt. A tiny pink satin neckline with lace trim completes this ensemble. The most daring mothers can dress their little girl in a black velvet and pink satin dress.

Another type of dress is the pearl gray velvet dress with a white taffeta skirt with a satin bow that is done with a soft baby pink.

Just remember that when your daughter gets older, it won’t be as fun as it used to be.
