When it comes to residential projects, residential construction can take anywhere from one to three years from start to finish. Commercial construction, on the other hand, can often take anywhere between six months and two years. As you can see, there are certainly a lot of differences between the two types of construction projects. While commercial contractors are generally required to complete larger commercial projects sooner than residential contractors, residential construction contractors are often able to complete building projects at a much quicker pace.
